Harddisk

The ide controller uses the atiixp kernel module, and cause me lot of headache before I found out.

tomsin-laptop:/home/tom# hdparm -tT /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 Timing cached reads: 1504 MB in 2.00 seconds = 751.95 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 92 MB in 3.04 seconds = 30.26 MB/sec

Network

8139too kernel module for ethernet.

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10)

Wireless network

From the output of lspci:

Network controller: Broadcom Corporation: Unknown device 4318 (rev 02)

Works, using ndiswrapper. I'll add details later.
